From British Limestone to the soil
Parkers is part of the Stoneworld Group, a group with more than 25 years’ experience supplying stone solutions to architects, interior designers, landscapers, garden designers and pool builders.
In 2025, the Stoneworld Group acquired Park Lane Bathstone, a Bath Stone mine known for producing some of the most premium Bath Stone on the market. Looking closely at the operation, it became clear that only around 40% of extracted material is suitable for building stone, while roughly 60% becomes surplus.
With clear intent and long-term thinking, Parkers set out to transform that surplus into practical agricultural products that support regenerative farming and enhance cow bedding. This approach helps turn a previously wasted resource into something genuinely useful, improving hygiene and comfort in livestock housing and helping reduce the day-to-day pressure associated with mastitis and other issues linked to damp, contaminated bedding.
Our source of limestone
Our limestone is sourced from Park Lane Bathstone, an established underground mine at Brockleaze, Neston near Corsham in Wiltshire. This is the home of Bath Stone, a premium British oolitic limestone know for its warm honey-cream tone and consistent character.
Te site has a long working history dating back to the late 19th century, and it has been brought back into active operation under Stoneworld Group ownership. That matters because it give us full oversight on provenance, quality control and long-term availability.
As part of stone extraction and processing, usable limestone naturally generates waste and are left underground in the mine. Parkers takes that valuable waste material and coverts it into practical agricultural products, keeping the supply chain efficient, consistent and quality assured.

Quality assured
Every batch is tested before it leaves us, so you are not relying on guesswork. That testing verifies the key performance markers, including Neutralising Value and Calcium Carbonate Equivalente, alongside particle size to confirm the product is milled and graded to do the job efficiently and evenly.
All results are recorded for traceability, and our processes are aligned with relevant British and European (EN) standards. IN plain terms, that means you get dependable specification, repeatable performance, and confidence to plan your programme properly, whether you are using it for soil conditioning or livestock bedding applications.
